THE DOGON

DOGONS/NOMMO ~ AUSET/SIRIUS ~ AUSAR/ORION The Dogons have a unique distinction. Supposedly when they left Egypt and migrated to Mali where they brought with them sacred knowledge in the form of oral traditions - perhaps handed down by the ancient priests of Egypt. There are oral traditions about interaction with Amphibious Gods who came to Earth from the star Sirius (now called Sirius A).

Dogon astronomical lore goes back at least 5000 years. This knowledge most likely dates back to the time of the ancient Egyptian priests - who stored their knowledge as their civilization was destroyed. This knowledge was to be part of our collective unconsciousness - to be re membered - to be brought to the public - when it was time for humanity to make great changes. These changes are reflected in all ancient prophecies. The information is about creation by Geometry - Mathematical patterns or formulas. We sense change in our thinking and our souls. We dream unusual dreams about changes and look for Magic in our lives, movies, books, TV shows. We experience beyond third dimension.

The Dogon are believed to be of Egyptian decent. According to their traditions, the star Sirius has a companion star which is invisible to the human eye. This companion star has a 50 year elliptical orbit around the visible Sirius and is extremely heavy. It also rotates on its axis.

This was recorded by two French anthropologists, Marcel Griaule and Germain Dieterlen. They recorded it from the mouths of four Dogon priests in the 1930's. The question is. How did the Dogon, a people who lacked any kind of astronomical devices know so much about an invisible star? The star, which scientists call Sirius B, wasn't even photographed until it was done by a large telescope in 1970.

According to the Dogon oral traditions, a race of people from the Sirius system called the Nommos visited Earth thousands of years ago. The Nommos were ugly, amphibious beings that resembled mermen and mermaids. They also appear in Babylonian, Accadian, and Sumerian myths. The Egyptian Goddess Isis (Ausar), who is sometimes depicted as a mermaid, is also linked with the star Sirius.

The Nommos, according to the Dogon legend, lived on a planet that orbits another star in the Sirius system. They landed on Earth in an "ark" that made a spinning decent to the ground with great noise and wind. It was the Nommos that gave the Dogon the knowledge about Sirius B.

The Goddess Auset operates through the star SIRIUS (or Dog Star), which is the brightest star in the sky. As Auset, she is called The Great Provider, because of the energy she transmits to the Sun and the Earth.

The God Ausar operates through the star system of ORION, and can be found together with the star, Auset.

This union is said to make heaven and earth fruitful. Together Auset operating through the star system SIRIUS, and Asar operating through the star system ORION, are husband, and wife, and transmitting their energy through our solar system. This develops the energy of Heru the core of Sun, and Earth, as the Goddess Auset operates through the star system SIRIUS. Auset is called the Queen of Sirius, and is known as The Great Provider.

The God Ausar operates through the star system ORION, as King, Chief or Leader of the Northern Territory, which is sacred to Ausar, as the region where he made his transition to rule as King, and also where he is resurrected.

The two star systems change positions in the sky and ultimately unite with one another. This union is the union of the Goddess and God in the sky.

This is the union of Queen Auset and Asar King of the North. Because the God operates through the star system Orion, He has been called the Sun for thousands of years. And Queen Auset has the title, Wise One. The star born of the Wise Queen, Heru is called the son of the Wise One.

The Dogons have an oral tradition about interaction with Amphibious Gods who came to Earth from the star Sirius (now called Sirius A).

The Dogon name for Sirius B is Po Tolo. It means star - tolo and smallest seed - po. Seed refers to creation. In this case - human creation. By this name they describe the star's smallness. It is, they say, the smallest thing there is. They also claim that it is the heaviest star and is white in color. The Dogon thus attribute to Sirius B its three principal properties as a white dwarf: small, heavy, white.

In the late 1930s, four Dogon priests shared their most important secret tradition with two French anthropologists, Marcel Griaule and Germain Dieterlen after they had spent an apprenticeship of fifteen years living with the tribe.

These were secret myths about the star Sirius, which is 8.6 light years from the Earth. The priests said that Sirius had a companion star that was invisible to the human eye. They also stated that:

~ The star moved in a 50-year elliptical orbit around Sirius,
~ That it was small and incredibly heavy,
~ And that it rotated on its axis.

Initially the anthropologists wrote it off, publishing the information in an obscure anthropological journal, because they didn't appreciate the astronomical importance of the information.

What they didn't know was that since 1844, astronomers had suspected that Sirius A had a companion star. This was in part determined when it was observed that the path of the star wobbled. In 1862 Alvan Clark discovered the second star making Sirius a binary star system (two stars).

In the 1920's it was determined that Sirius B, the companion of Sirius, was a white dwarf star. White dwarfs are small, dense stars that burn dimly. The pull of its gravity causes Sirius' wavy movement. Sirius B is smaller than planet Earth.
